Me, Myself, and I

I guess it is true that people have a hard time paying attention to the world around them.

I have been sitting at a shop across the street from Grants State Bank writing an estimate for the past 45 minutes and no joke about 60 people have walked up and yanked multiple times on the bank door. Then they walk around to the other two doors of the bank and yank on them. All this even though there are no vehicles in the banks parking lot other than the trickle of car from the 60 of Grants' finest, it is Friday, July 3rd, and there is a big sign on all the doors a has been for the past two weeks explaining the closure.

Heck, I even knew they were closed today and I don't bank there.

Drama

What do you do? This is one of those questions you ask yourself upon finding out one of your children smashed a very large "Under The Sea" snow globe over the other's head. This question hits you when you run into the room after the commencing drama to see one child on his knees holding his head screaming with glass, water, blood and glitter everywhere. The other standing over him screaming in their own right completely freaked out over what they had done. As you can see in the photo we were fortunate and no one was seriously hurt. Hyrum learned not to tease and that getting hit in the head with a snow globe is not pleasant; and Natalie learned regret and that snow globes break.
