I recently watched two must see films. I call these “must see” as they brought an awakening to how lucky I am to live in this time and in a free land. They are The Kite Runner and Alone in the Wilderness. A warning for parents The Kite Runner is PG-13 and I recommend that you watch it first without your children you will probably need to force your children to watch Alone in the Wilderness.

Read the book The Kite Runner. It was excellent. I've seen the PBS deal on the wilderness guy. What an amazing story. Can't even imagine the work it took to survive back in the day. We are SPOILED. Looking forward to baby news! Keep us posted
