So, you may recall a little over a year ago a young man ran into our gas meter in the alley. After having the repairs made the serviceman for the gas company told us that they would install a guard since it had been hit. Wishing to know if and when, Rachael asked about it at the gas companies office. There she was rudely told, in not so many words, keep dreaming. So in order to quite her fears I acquired an 8' by 4" steel post and sunk it in the area of likely impact.
Today I decided to drive the alley to check on everything an found that the gas fairy had installed the before mentioned guard of our dreams right by my post.
