So I just checked into my hotel room. It is at the holiday inn express and they gave me a mini suite. Ah, 2 flat screens I could watch 2 things at once.
Now what to watch?

I just had the weirdest day in a long time and it just keeps getting better. First, you should know that I am in Alamogordo, NM for work assisting with work load. So from the start I was out of my element. I believe the last time I was I Alamogordo I was 8 or 9 and riding with with my Grandfather in his truck.
Well for those who have been to Alamogordo you know it is a dirt bowl between an Airforce Base and a mountain and a little on the trashy side is another understatement. Anyway I heard about this place to eat during my day and I was told it is a must try. So why not!
In 10 steps I went from best dressed to how dare he wear that. I love New Mexico. I am now listening to a man singing and struminng. This place gets 5 stars from me. This place goes by the name Stelia Vita.
Following the advice of colleagues, I was lead to the Owl Cafe in San Antonio New Mexico. The advice was the their burgers are the best in the State. Sadly this is not the case. It should be noted that the interior is more bar than cafe. The burger was okay and things were interesting; like the 2 old ladies sitting at the bar. I think they've been sitting there since the '60s. One of them had orangish gray hair and looked like an old version of the mother from that seventy's show. It was a very "welcome to the twilight zone" experience.
So my parents were out of town last week and my cousin Ethan was staying at there house while they were gone. So I swung by and left him a surprise! Imagine walking in your room and seeing what you think is a pair of legs sticking out from under your bed.
